Hello Reader, This morning during my Bible reading, the Lord led me to Psalm 37:3-7, and I felt like it was exactly what my heart needed. Maybe it's what you need today too. Trust in the Lord and do good; 5 Commit your way to the Lord; 7 Be still before the Lord Sometimes we spend so much time asking God to change our circumstances that we forget He is first wanting to change us while we wait. Psalm 37: 3-7 gives us a simple blueprint for what to do when we don't know what comes next. Trust in the Lord. When life doesn't make sense, trust Him anyway. Trust isn't based on what we can see. It's choosing to believe that God is still working even when we can't see His hand. Do good. Don't stop doing what God has called you to do just because you're discouraged. Keep serving. Keep praying. Keep loving people. Keep obeying God even if no one notices. Delight yourself in the Lord. Instead of focusing on what you're still waiting for, spend time enjoying the One you're waiting on. The more we delight in God, the more our hearts begin to desire what He desires. Commit your way to Him. There are some things we simply cannot carry ourselves. Lay your plans, your fears, your unanswered prayers, and your future at His feet. He is far more capable of carrying them than we are. Be still before the Lord. Being still doesn't mean doing nothing. It means resting in God's character while continuing to walk in obedience. It means choosing peace instead of panic. Wait patiently for Him. Waiting is one of the hardest things we do as believers. But waiting is never wasted when we're waiting on God. He uses every season to strengthen our faith, teach us dependence, and prepare us for what He has ahead. Today, instead of asking, "God, when will You answer?" Maybe ask, "Lord, what are You teaching me while I wait?" That one question can change everything. I don't know what you're facing today, but I do know this: You can trust Him. A prayer for today Father, Help me trust You when life feels uncertain. Teach me to delight in You more than in the answers I am seeking. Give me the strength to keep doing good, the wisdom to commit every burden into Your hands, and the peace to be still while You work behind the scenes. Thank You for never abandoning me in the waiting. Strengthen my faith today and remind me that Your timing is always perfect. In Jesus' name, Praying for you today. With much love, Cori Dickess P.S.S. ✨ If Today’s Godly Wisdom has encouraged you or blessed you in any way and you feel led to give a one-time gift, your support helps make it possible to continue sharing God’s Word through devotionals, blog posts, and faith-based resources.
